Bert Remsen

Herbert Birchell Bert Remsen was an American actor.

Remsen was born in Glen Cove, New York, on Long Island, the son of Helen and Winfred Herbert Remsen. He played character roles in numerous films directed by Robert Altman, including Brewster McCloud , McCabe amp Mrs. Miller , Thieves Like Us , California Split , Nashville , Buffalo Bill and the Indians, or Sitting Bulls History Lesson and A Wedding . His many other film credits included Fuzz , Baby Blue Marine , Uncle Joe Shannon , Fast Break , Carny , Borderline , Inside Moves , SecondHand Hearts , Lookin to Get Out , The Sting II , Places in the Heart , Code of Silence , TerrorVision , Eye of the Tiger , Miss Firecracker , Sundown The Vampire in Retreat , Daddys Dyin Whos Got the Will and Only the Lonely . His last film was the posthumously released The Sky is Falling .
